The Women’s Velez Jacket is constructed from mixed Nikwax Analogy fabric, zoned for lightweight, low bulk weather protection.The multiple ventilation combined with mesh pump liner throughout allows the jacket to operate in warmer temperatures and intensive activites, while still providing excellent weather protection. Both chest pockets work as vents and hand warming pockets. Both pockets are map size plus one has a secondary zipped internal pocket. Mesh pump liner throughout allows more airflow and wider operating range of temperatures. Redesigned and extended mesh lining reinforcement ensures better protection when using a pack. Forward facing, mesh lined arm vents with locking YYK zips. Helmet compatible wired peaked hood provides excellent field of vision and a Halo adjuestment allows for one handed adjustment. The hood can be rolled up and stowed away using a hook and loop of the jacket. Reflective flashes placed around the jacket provide a body outline in bad weather.Two way, reversed YKK front zip, with internal storm flap allows effective ventilation. A longer cut sleeve and hook loop closure with bite tab end. Scooped hem with draw chord adjustment, allows for close fit and weather protection if needed. Design is pack,harness and helmet compatible. All adjusters operate with single gloved hand for qick and procise adjustment. A cleaner hood design and updated Paramo branding has been added.
